Personal Spear Phishing! (For Ping) Empty Personal Spear Phishing! (For Ping)

The shopping district was bustling as ever, the in and out movements of people as they pushed through the streets and alley ways of the shopping district in its busiest hours. Thanks to the Superhero Foundation crime was pretty light in this part of town, so much so that most official SF patrols had been curtailed, in favor for amateurs to spend time in the area. This made it a wonderful area for newbie super heroes to start out, and a place for those hunting such green heroes to have a fruitful harvest. Rumors had started to circulate even to the levels of SF heroes that such traps were taking place here in Alexandrite Shopping District, but so far without much evidence there wasn't a response, or even more patrols in the area leaving incidents to happen, incidents like this:

An older gent, the type with posh style and manners whose clothing denoted his sense of refined taste and proper upbringing, held his genuine leather wallet in his hands stepping from the store where he'd just purchased another elegant pair of custom shoes in the current style, now in the bag swinging from his arm as he quietly stuffed the checkbook back into his full billfold, organizing it like he didn't have a care in the world, after all with the heroes Ruby City had to be one of the safest in the world, right?

Wrong.

A young man on a scooter would pop a wheelie up onto the sidewalk slamming the front tire down in front of the older gent scaring him nearly to death, causing the well dressed citizen to jump as the man in leather on the high end scooter snatched the genuine leather wallet from the gent's hands with a "Thanks Mate!" Before speeding away on the scooter, leaving a trail of rubber in his wake as he took off like a bat out of hell, bowling over a couple in shock at the blatant crime they'd just witnessed, putting the pair on their asses as he took off over the curb again!

"What!?" The old man looked at his hands for a moment then to the bike then to his hands before looking towards the tail lights of the bike as it sped away! "Somebody! Stop that man! He just stole my wallet!" He yells, looking around for someone! Anyone to help him in his hour of need! If there was a hero around he'd hoped that one of the young heroes around here would swoop in and save him just like all the stories he'd heard!

Personal Spear Phishing! (For Ping) Empty Re: Personal Spear Phishing! (For Ping)

Being apart of the SAFE program, Ping was off getting credit for a safe class. She patrolled the streets in a special jumpsuit made for generic supers in the class. She had a white helmet with a dark blue visor covering her Eyes and extra pads around her elbows, knees, and the back of her neck. Flying was dangerous so it was always best to be prepared. While, she preferred to be in the school laboratory, a certain mishap with her new invention had her ban for a week. If only that boy did not connect the accelerator with the darn engine cycle before the supply was grounded. Her face turned hot pink as the event infuriated her Scottish blood.
“Cool down Gul. Prop and polite like mums wants.”
With a deep breath, the emotional flames died down.

Suddenly, the call for help set her calm heart a blaze. Page turned to the direct of the cry to see a man pointing to some man on a scooter. Time was of the essence and being a non combat oriented super was not a good excuse, especially since nobody was around. The girl went into a half hearted sprint while holding her arms out.
“Dragonfly, dont fail me now!”
A pair of mechanical wings spawned on the girl’s back taking her from the ground to the air. It would not be long before she caught up with the thief, given his scooter was not supercharged.

“Halt sir, Return the wallet or face the consequences”

The man on the scooter in his full face helmet glanced when he heard the girl call out for him to stop, his face was completely covered, his body in a heavy leather jacket and his hands in synthetic gloves and his feet in heavy combat style boots, this was no ordinary robber. Still the man wasn't about to give up, pushing the little ruckus to it's absolute limits even on the crowded streets of the bazaar. With a turn of the wheel he would knock over a patron, sending the man to the ground with a loud sound of the wind being knocked out of him.

If Ping got close enough to touch the man she'd find herself on the receiving end of a reinforced knuckle fisting, the painful type. The man clearly had places to be and now he was leading her on a wild chase, a chase through the crowded streets where only more people would be hurt if this kept up! His response to her demand to stop being most obvious.

Bouncing the scooter off a curb, and light post sending sparks everywhere the man quickly turned the scooter in an almost inhuman manner as he shot down an alleyway causing his pursuer, with her more powerful and wonderful mode of transportation to overshoot the turn. The man obviously didn't care about his ride much either as he was leaving rubber, and metal behind with such maneuvers, perhaps the scooter was stolen too!?

Ping blazed through the streets. Her QD was about 1 third out of fuel or so she calculated. The scooter was surprisingly fast but her inventions were better. It wouldn't be long before she was within arms reach of the man. However, a quick swipe of his arm sent her spiraling into the air. She managed to dodge his attack, but now the man had gain a significant amount of distance.
"Damn Wee Shet!"
Politeness was out the door now. For the man to even have the nerve of trying to strike her, she wouldn't let him get away now.

She flew into the air. Looking down, she saw the man weaving through traffic and even nearly knocking people down. She had to cut him off. So she darted into his direction until she was 10 meters above him, give or take a couple Centimeters. It was then that she noticed him slowing down. His ride was breaking apart. This was perfect. Waiting for him to reach a straight away, she darted down hoping to intercept him with a flying kick.

Her plan would go into motion as soon as the cycleist rounded a corner down a long dark alleyway. The trap had been set as the man looked back waiting for the flying girl to enter the alleyway only to be kicked square off his bike by the jet-pack bound girl, the bike rolling to the right and slamming right into a dumpster with a loud crack. The little scooter coughing a little bit as the engine stalled from the impact and suddenly being laid over on its side. The man holding his midriff as he coughed and sputtered in his helmet as he rolled around trying to catch his breath, he was dressed for the crash, but crashing headlong into the foot of the girl. Gasping for air the man looked up from the ground and screeched "Bitch!"

What she wouldn't see was the thugs walking into the alleyway and closing the gates behind them at either end, closing the jaws of the trap now that their little mouse had wandered in, and now it definately wasn't a fair fight, there were nearly a dozen, all of them armed, and acting quietly as they closed in on the girl from the front and the back while her attention was down on the purp with the purse.

What the gangbangers that were surrounding Ping didn't see was the boy across the street from the alleyway in a cafe, flipping through his phone and watching as they closed the alleyway where a few weeks before himself and Byron had fought off a similar contingent of cronies, before the man in the trenchcoat and hat got away, it didn't look like he was showing this time. A Shame, really for Roy as he ran his hand through his silvery hair and stood up from his chair and dropped a $10 for his drink, and started out the door of the cafe and began crossing the street...

Personal Spear Phishing! (For Ping) Empty Re: Personal Spear Phishing! (For Ping)

Ping landed her kick surprisingly. Out of the near infinity possibilities, winning a contest of physical strength and speed. Well, with her obviously superior QB, there was not much he could do in terms of getting away. However, she did sort of expect him to fight back a little more. Maybe fire a heart of fire like that one teacher's assistant or maybe turn into metal. It was this uncertainly that made the ever careful Ping fall into a tumble with the man.

Her QB managed to send her in a different direction than the man but the wings were ruined. Flying them now would be too risky, not that it mattered. She stood up with her eyes on the man. Clearly, he took a bigger hit than her. He should of wore a better helmet.

"Bitch? That be no fuqin way to talk to a laddie." She rushed over him to step on his chest. "Especially after getting ya Arse kicked. HAHA. Cant even beat a wee girl on her first patrol. Ya just a pansy thief, no way. That implies You know what cha doin. Don't wanna insult the good ones ya know!"

Ping was laughing a storm spinning handcuffs around her finger. She dismissed her QB so she could gather more energy to make a new one. Then she reached down to grab the man's arms. Her plan was to cuff him to a pipe until she could create a new QB and then fly him back to the captain of the internship. Finally, Ping looked down at the purse. "I wonder how much ya petty crime would even pay out."

The on the ground gasping for breath that the flying girl had kicked out of him looked down to the bag when she mentioned it and quickly tossed it up to her eye level which wasn't very high. Why would he do something like that? It's not like he was tossing it to her! Or giving up after this long a chase especially when the fight wasn't completely knocked out of him!

POP! BANG! RIIIiiiiiiiiiiinnnnggggg!

Ping would be met with a bright flash as the Flash Bang grenade hidden in the satchel erupted, shredding the little bag where the man had stashed the wallet he'd stolen, when riding off. It seemed that there was something else at play here. That man's helmet, heavy clothing and dark visor would protect his head from ringing like a churchbell on Sunday.

Ping would feel the man's legs kick her knee's knocking her to the ground temporarily blinded and deafened by the sudden explosive device. It would seem that she was now the one in the pickle.

Roy would bound over the six foot chain-link fence like it was a baby gate, not even touching it as he landed like an anvil in one of those cartoons on the center man coming down the close side of the alleyway. Including the man on the bike there were Seven, three on his side of the alleyway, three opposite, and the man that just lit off a grenade causing everyone in the alley to pause as they realized that there was yet ANOTHER player in this high stakes game!

One of the thugs on the opposite side of Ping would growl as he recovered from the loud pop and flash, not being as close as Ping and the thief were. "It's that white haired kid! Boss'll pay triple for his dead body!"

Personal Spear Phishing! (For Ping) Empty Re: Personal Spear Phishing! (For Ping)

Ping opened the back only to ear a barely audible click. "What the?" She could feel time freeze around her as the bag warmed up and slowly broke apart under her hands. Instinct kicked in. She released the bag but the mysterious force seemed to keep the bag fluttering in the air steady ripping it apart in a rush to be free. Her eyes were not so quick, catching the full glimps of the force. For a second she could see the angry white explosion. It enveloped her like a cold hug.

The world around her morphed into memories of her past. She could see her parents convincing her to go to school. Then the smile on her father's face greeted her after realizing her Quantum Butterfly wasn't going to explode. Her Mother made a bad joke about blind firefighters playing golf. She was not the most funny person but it was nice to see even she could have fun, even in the middle of a lesson. A faded memory of her first set of bad blue prints faded into the light. Of course, it exploded so it was best to let it keep fading away. Everything was so peaceful until a loud ringing ran through her brain and her legs lost contact with the ground.

The light vanished as Ping tried to move her arms. However, they wouldn't respond. No matter how hard she tried to find them, how much she could feel they were in front of her, she could see nothing. It was like the light ripped away the world, leaving only a powerful cold gust to catch her. If only it was stronger. Her body suddenly stopped, as if she ran into a wall. Only, she was not standing. A stinging heat ran down her back, hands, and arms. Then it all disappeared as her head hit the mysterious wall.

Ping's head hurt. It was warm, throbbing. She wanted to complain, express herself the way normal people do. However, her mouth wouldn't move. She managed to make a sound, groaning unintelligible words even her father wouldn't be able to comprehend. Her mother would be highly upset. How hard was it to say, "What happened." Ping wished she could hear the sharp words of her mother instead of this dreaded ringing. She couldn't think of anything worst then the feeling of pens being shoved into her eardrums.

The ground was shaking, no; Ping realized it was just sound running through her body. Someone or something was moving around her. It was then that a cold sensation crawled down her spine like a spider laying its web. She was upset on how she forgot something so important. She was catching something. There was a call for help. She was sure of it. Why else would she be running... no flying. Her head started throbbing again, pulsing with pain and the desire to sleep. She was tired, maybe nobody would notice if she just relaxed for a few minutes. She closed her eyes without realizing it and tried to give in to her urges.
