Christmas Cheer and Grinchy Appearances. (Open, Christmas themed event)

Clint was getting increasingly aggravated every time he misses his shots to the point where he let out the loud cry of. "god dammit." after he missed his last shot, Clint ran towards were the kreature was while reloading his gun and pulling the hammer back Clint looked at the young girl.  “Shit sorry he’s a fast bastard.”  firing at him twice while he was on the ground this time aiming for center mast

Marina ran at Kreature with a makeshift weapon held high.  He hadn't had enough time to recover, so instead he just held up his right arm to block the hit.  Once the wooden candy cane hit him, he grabbed it his his left hand and flung it backwards, possibly tripping up Marina from the Momentum depending on how fast she reacted.  Defending from that attack had held him off enough for Clint to get off his attacks.  On hit Kreature in the upper thigh but he rolled away before the other hit him.  He put pressure on his leg to slow the bleeding.  Enough time had passed along with the new pain in his leg giving him clarity so his head was back to normal.  He propped himself up on a box, standing only on one leg while the other was mostly limp.  He readied himself and made a dash for Clint, seeing Marina as a much more minor threat at this point.  Even without one of his legs he was still able to move faster than a normal person.  In near an instant he was on top of Clint.  With one of his legs out, he could no longer go for any kicks but he still had his punches.  He made a series of alternating punches while hopping on his one leg, trying to keep balance.  In particular, he tried focusing on Clint's gun arm in an attempt to disarm him.

Marin found himself stumbling backwards as he was easily disarmed and disbalanced, and while the idol was suitably fit in many ways, he was far less used to having to suddenly react to anything like this, having never been in a real fight to begin with. He found himself stumbling uselessly before falling backwards onto his butt as the villain practically dismissed him. Any confidence in being able to handle the villain slipping as he realized the physical gap was far too wide to overcome. The fact his sonic attacks didn’t seem to have done much outside annoy the green furred beast man only further disheartening the idol.

She was a singer, not a fighter and the fact that the gunshot seemed much more effective, if nothing else only added proof to that. The idea formed a minute later as she realized that he could slow down the villain further, though for different reasons. At least enough to finish the fight if done right. Marina wasn’t sure if his original power would work through Kreature’s fur, as he’d never tried such a thing before but… it wasn’t like he had much of a choice…

The idol Stood up walking quickly over to the struggle hoping to get there before the stranger with the gun was completely disarmed. He reached over hurriedly attempting to grab onto the villain’s arm in an attempt to help. Making sure to aim the grab for Kreatures uncovered, green furred wrist.

Clint was not happy with the fact that the green furred man was not incapacitated, he was even more upset with the fact that he was on top of Clint betting him.  Clint put up as much of a fight as he could bit he was sure he would lose if he did not come up with something soon, at the corner of his eye Clint saw the girl sneak up on the Kreature, Clint came up with a plan quick he assumed that the girl would make a grab at the green furred man, so Clint decided as soon as she did this he would grab his gun and shoot the Kreature in the stomach.

Kreature was completely focused on dealing with the man with the gun.  He missed a few punches but most of them seemed to be landing.  At the very least, these hits would be leaving bruises, if not welts, for later.  Withing his flurry of punches, Kreature let go a powerful punch right to Clint's gut.  Immediately afterwards, he felt someone grab his wrist.  He turned his head to see the girl fro before.  He knew he should bat her away, but something stopped him.  Deep within he didn't want to hurt the lovely flower before him.  He was momentarily stunned, unsure of what to do.  He tried to lightly shake off her grasp, but if she had any reasonable amount of strength in her grasp she wouldn't have been shaken off.  Strangely enough, he almost didn't want her to let go.  He was no longer hopping around, but his one leg was strong enough to support himself without too much trouble.  He was currently standing directly between Marina and Clint, trying to clear his mind and figure out what to do.

“Do you really have to make so much trouble?” The singer asked, noting that his power seemed to be taking effect. He fluttered his eyelashes while giving the villain a pleading look. Hoping to take advantage of the power’s effect to make this whole come to an end. If he surrendered, they wouldn’t really need to beat the green furred villain. “Can’t you just, stop this, please?”

At the very least, the trap was hopefully distracting the villain, gently trying to pull his hand away from the firearm, hoping that the cowboy would take advantage of the opportunity. He’d rather avoid having to flirt with the villain more than necessarily, he just hoped the cowboy didn’t go too far with it.

Clint did not know what was happening but he did not mind as it gave him ample opportunity to shoot the man who was just beating him. Clint got off the ground pulled the hammer back on his gun, he then attempted to shoot the green man in the shoulder once again while he was not paying attention to Clint afterwards saying. “Bah humbug.”

Kreature flapped his mouth, trying to say something that just wouldn't come out.  He was torn.  On one hand he really wanted to accomplish his mission and save his friends, but another part of him just didn't want to fight her at all and just listen.  He stopped resisting her grip and let his arms hang down.  "I-I just," words finally coming to him, "o-oka-."  A bullet busted through his shoulder, penetrating all the way through and flying directly passed Marina's head.  Kreature screamed out in anger and pain, as he took his good arm and swung around, backhanding Clint in the jaw and sending him sprawling.  His rotation with only one good leg caused him to fall over and land on his bad shoulder.  He cried out in pain again.  If Marina didn't let go of him she would also tumble to the floor with him.  Kreature held his shoulder, trying not to cry out, however, now two of his limbs had been incapacitated.  He glared viciously at Clint from his position on the floor.  He began shuffling along the ground with his two good limbs towards him.

Marin was relieved when the man who called himself Kreature began to backdown, hoping they could end this without any more violence than necessary….right before a sudden loud bang seemed to interrupt the surrender. Marin’s eyes widened in shock as the bullet whizzed past his head, barely an inch off from ending the singer’s career prematurely.

The idol let out a scream, not of the sonic variety of course, blinking as he felt warm liquid splattering onto him, dying his some of the white of his costume crimson as he froze in shock, being pulled down by the superhuman easily as he was too shocked to even think to let go. He’d nearly died, and this time the adrenalin wasn’t near enough to make him let that go a second time. Perhaps the rush of adrenalin had simply worn off, but Marina had found himself paralyzed in shock and fear, covered in another person’s blood.
He didn’t see the backhanding of the cowboy, too shocked to even process it before he found himself tumbling to the ground with the green furred villain. “Just stop!” Marina finally said in a low, pleading voice. “Your hurt, your friends are hurt….you need a hospital.” The idol pleaded hoping to get through to Kreature. “Look, just give up so we can get you and your friends some help…you…you don’t need to do this.”

The idol didn’t know if his power was still effecting the villain, didn’t even think about it as she pleaded with him to just stop this before somebody got killed.

Clint noticed that the green man was keeled over, as clint was about to lower his gun he was smacked across the room flying back as the green man started crawling towards him. He was going to point his gun at the man but the young girl started begging for this to end and, as Clint looked at her his heart broke a little so he lowered the gun and looked at the man. “Listen you all need medical attention and I don’t want to traumatize the kid so you just give up now and we can leave it at that so please just give up.”

Kreature stopped crawling and looked back at Marina as she spoke.  What she said made sense.  Both him and his allies were in no condition to fight.  As much as it pained him to admit it, he lost.  He turned his head back to Clint and gave a final snarl.  "Fine.  Just hurry up and get them to the hospital.  

At that moment, two different doors busted open to the back stage.  It was the police, dressed in SWAT uniforms.  Then spread out, checking everyone.  A couple went over to where the other hostages were.  Some checked on the fallen guards.  Three officers went over to Kreature, pointing their guns, while another apprehended him.  Four Officers went over to Clint, weapons trained on him.  "Put the weapon on the ground now!"  One of the officers came up to Marina, recognizing her, "Are you okay?  Where are you injured?"

Marina let out a sigh of relief when Kreature finally gave up, feeling more than a bit of pity despite the criminal’s actions. Part of him was worried he wouldn’t give up, and that this would all have a lethal outcome in the end. The police burst in a moment later, and the pop star blinked at the question confused before realizing she was still covered in Kreature’s blood.
“I-I’m fine, it’s not my…” She trailed off, feeling far more worried as he realized for perhaps the first time that it wasn’t just the green furred villain that was wounded but one of the thugs as well. The starlet allowed his resolve to build for a moment before deciding to finish answering. “Im fine, you need to get these two to a hospital.” She answered. The starlet gestured to Kreature first, then to the thug that had been shot earlier avoiding looking at the cowboy as she did so. Marin was still obviously shaken, still terrified over the events of the last hour, and still covered in blood….

“W-would it be ok if I found somewhere to change…I can give my statement after.” The idol asked. His eyes went to a bag he'd left in the room earlier, containing the clothes he'd arrived to the show in, before he'd gotten into costume. He just wanted to go home right now...

Clint gently put his gun on the ground as he puts his hands up. “Can I get a lite.” Clint said as he picked up his carton of cigarettes that slipped out of his pocket when the Kreature threw him although his liter was destroyed , it would be annoying to get a new one but he’ll live. He looked at the young girl who seemed shooken up he sighed a bit. “Sorry kid.” Clint allowed himself to be questioned from there.

The officer looked concerned at Marina.  "Very well.  Ana, could you help her out please?"  He called over to another officer.  "Ana here will take care of you here.  You'll be safe with her.  Unfortunately, we can't let you go until you make your statement, but just let her know when you are ready."  He gently patted her on the shoulder and then nodded to Ana who came to take his place.  "Bobby, call in some stretchers!"

Once Clint set down his gun, the officer in the middle gestured for one of the others to grab it. "Sorry, but you're gonna need to answer some questions here first before we can let you go and have a smoke.  First, are you with the men who were hijacking the event?  If not, I'm going to need to see a permit for that gun.  What were you doing back here, and what happened?"  The center officer had lowered his weapon but two of the men at his side had yet to do so.

Marin simply nodded before taking the bag he’d left earlier with him to the nearest restroom down the hallway, the female police officer following her as the idol tried to get a grip on himself. He changed in the bathroom, glad that he would at least still be able to keep his secret after all this, though still shaken by the blood present on the clothes he was changing out of.

The trap would take his time, still shaken up by the events a bit, but eventually managed to change into the far more practical, and more importantly less bloody clothes. The idol frowned at the discarded costume, placing it in a trash before stepping back out to meet the female officer.

“Ok, I guess I’m ready…” he remarked, before explaining what had happened in as much detail as he could remember.

Clint nodded at the police officer and put the cigarette he had back into the carton. “Don’t worry I ain’t with these assholes, I was trying to free the hostages and take them in.” Clint grabbed his firearm license and showed it to the officer. This was not the first time Clint was in one of these situations, when he was younger Clint did not have a license to carry firearms he found getting one helped with hero work in the long run. From there Clint told the officers what happened.

The officers took the stories of Marina, Clint, and all the people that had been taken hostage.  All of Kreature's team was arrested, and both Kreature and Steve were hospitalized.  None of the hostages or security guards were hurt.  As a result of Marina's actions, Kreature's heart grew three sizes that day, and she gained a new fan.  Most importantly, Christmas was saved, thanks to Marina and Clint.
