Opal Grove

A nature reservation within what may as well be a nature reservation, the Opal Grove is little more than the largest distance between two houses. It is a densely forested and lush environment, with a mixture of coniferous and evergreen trees rather than a selective ecosystem. It is tended by a few nature heroes known as 'The Druids', who have petitioned that the city does not expand into this particular stretch of forest for some reason. All are welcome to walk around here nonetheless, but trouble in this location is often put down by nature itself.

Mt. Rosaline

A sudden and sharply steep mountain to the South of Ruby City, technically outside of city borders. It's size is tremendous, and many people tremble at the power that caused it, because it's actually a very new feature, and wouldn't come up on most Google Earth photos or maps. One of the A-Class Heroes got into a battle with a giant on the outskirts of the city, and finished the massive villain by erecting a mountain to uppercut them into submission. The mountain was left there as a message to any Giant Villains who thinks they're big enough to step on justice. A good many climbers have recently come to check this mountain out for a challenge, since it's unnatural and forced design makes it basically a straight shot up to the top, with few if any places to rest upon.

Morion Mines

At the foot of Mt. Rosaline there was recently discovered a vein of precious gemstones and other natural resources, generating a sort of hustle and bustle around the location for a while. There is a large mining operation extracting the exposed minerals and crystals, which is causing quite a ruckus and scaring off animals from the vicinity, not that anyone would mind, since animals walking around mines is begging for trouble.
