City Nights and Magical Greetings.

Coale looked out from the alleyway at the rundown looking warehouse. This area of East Diamond was all rundown factories and warehouses. A small section of the larger industrial area of the city district that one would assume would be a bit overrun with vagrants. It wasn’t the type of place Coale would ever come to normally, had she been in her off time, though it was a place her job almost required her to visit.

Criminals had a tendency to gather in places nobody wanted to look. She glanced back into the alleyway behind her, where the SWAT team had assembled. The seemingly innocuous warehouse was a well known meeting place for various gangs within the district of East Diamond, a place noted as neutral territory among many groups and if rumors were true. A location used by some criminal groups to sell weapons out of. The police knew enough to know it wasn’t the criminals hideout, but that there was supposed to be a major deal going on inside with the arms dealers and a local gang. The police had enough for a warrant, and rumors of a potential super had caused the SF to get involved. Coale didn’t know exactly how many heroes were tagging along on this bust, though she was aware that Houston was around, though he was with the second squad of SWAT setting up on the other side of the building. Coale herself had more or less volunteered for this, and given Houston had actually spoken up for her when someone had spoken against it. The currently black haired girl felt a blush remembering it. Stupid, he knew she could stand up for herself didn’t he?

She shook off the thought, checking her phone briefly to verify the time. They’d be starting soon, and she’d already seen enough to verify that something was going on. Including a few sentries seemingly patrolling outside the place. The girl put the phone away, before nodding to herself. It was about time for her to transform. A glow appeared at her hand as she walked a bit further into the alley, mostly to make sure she wasn’t spotted.

Aeternitas quietly approached the area where the rundown warehouse was located. She had heard reports from the Superhero Foundation about some suspicious activity located in this exact area. Ever the observer, she had decided to quietly observe and monitor the current situation. From her previous reconnaissance, she had made notes of the police presence and the presence the criminals elements within the warehouse itself.

After getting a clear "image" on the situation, Aeternitas quickly made her way to an unused alleyway which no one was using. This would provide her a perfect spot to transform into Magical Star Aeternitas Infinity. As she approached the alleyway, she spotted a black haired girl walking down another alleyway located nearby her.

"Hmm..... It looks like a superhero is joining in. I wonder what she is like." Aeternitas asked herself mentally as she walked into the empty alleyway. As she did so, a pure white light started emanating from her body.

The glow in her hand intensified, growing brighter before a sudden, spectral flame crawled outward over her body theatrically, glowing brighter. She would be obscured from view for a moment as the transformation overtook her, the flames growing ever brighter as her hair and eye color changed to match the flames. The fire itself would die down, revealing her outfit had changed. The casualwear she’d been wearing replaced by an outfit reminiscent of a Japanese school girl’s uniform with short skirt and leggings. Rather than the sweatshirt she had been wearing previously, she wore a short-sleeved blouse. A cloak had manifested around her, held together by a black jeweled brooch. The cloak’s length resembling a cape as it flared out behind her. An amulet hung from her neck, one of gold and red that hung from her neck.

Coale ran a thumb over the medallion, before she heard someone clear their throat behind her. “Tex’ said it was flashy but…” The man began with an amused expression on his face, only for her piercing red eyes to glare up at him. “I can’t do anything about that, stupid.” She remarked as she walked past the SWAT member to what was the acting command center, an unmarked van in a small parking lot. The captain of this strike team acknowledged her as she approached having already been briefed on how her appearance would change.
“Alright, looks like we’re almost ready. Our informant is inside now, facilitating the deal.” The older looking man stated to those around, ignoring those officers inspecting weapons. While ideally, the guns wouldn’t see any real use, the gang they were dealing with had been known to get into shootout with officers in the past, everyone involved was more than a little aware of the danger they’d face in a few minutes.

“We give him a few minutes to get things going, then crash this party once Alpha team gives the signal.” The man stated, looking over those gathered in the small parking lot. “Ready positions.” He stated, putting on his helmet as everyone fell into position, Coale felt a bit awkward not knowing exactly where she was supposed to be, but covered it up, making her way next to the officer that had talked to her earlier near the back of the formation. She was mostly here as fire support incase there were potential supers involved, and that was the role she would play.

A few moments later, Aeternitas' transformation finished and she was now clad in her Magical Girl outfit. It has a Dark Blue and white color scheme and consisted of a hat, a dress, white thigh highs, and shoes. She was now ready for anything. After scanning the area for any signs of  thugs guarding the warehouse, she quickly and stealthily made her way to the rear of the warehouse where there was no one guarding. Aeternitas quickly made her way inside the warehouse. Luckily for her, the Warehouse was packed full of weapons of various sorts. From her research, these looked like missiles and other explosives weapons of some sort.

"I should scope out the guard's movement patterns." Aeternitas thought to herself as took cover behind a stack of weapons crates which was about four feet taller than her. After approaching the stack of crates, she quickly pressed her back against them gently before getting down low and slowly scooting very slowly to her right. As she was doing so, she began looking and listening carefully for any signs of unwanted trouble. She also made note of the various weapons on the weapon racks for when the need arises.

"I should get my power ready just in case." Aeternitas thought to herself as she mentally prepped herself to use her temporal slowdown ability. It has been a while since she last used her abilities so they took some time to "prep" before they went off. This didn't bother her all that much as she was the "strategist/tactician" of her former Magical Girl Unit. She had always been the type to plan her power uses extremely carefully.

Inside the warehouse a different scene was unfolding.

"Your merchandise Gentlemen." The dealer, a man named Dmitri Lementov, clad in a classy suit with his hair slicked by with heavy grease, everything about the man said scumball, he was obviously of Russian descent, though he was clean shaven and wore a smile that hid a sharp bite. "Three hundred RPG-7 Rocket launchers, made in Georgia." He spoke with obvious pride at his merchandise as one of the hired hands a local boy with an PP19 Bizon slung on his back bent down and opened the case, revealing a very modern looking rocket launcher. "Each supplied with two Armor Piercing Rockets and four anti-personel rockets in a case, more than enough fire-power to take on your... foes."

"I didn't think the Soviets produced RPGs in Georgia." The buyer, Rasheed Hall a large darkly skinned black man wearing a heavy golden chain on his neck, and a bleached white wife-beater responded throwing his nose up at the rocket launcher in mock disgust though it was obvious he was impressed. Around them a myriad of armed guards kept their eyes opened, but were missing the shadows moving outside, sure that if there was any trouble it'd be from Rasheed's men.

"The Soviets didn't, the Americans do." Dmitri spoke with his lips curling into a smile, "The going price is two thousand five hundred per launcher." Rasheed scoffed at the price and haggling began in earnest.

A shadow had skulked in before the SWAT team had pulled up, and had begun his nefarious deeds overhearing the conversation in earnest, his eyes spotting the first movements of the surrounding police, as they created a perimeter. Their appearance wasn't unexpected, but earlier than his time tables allowed so the Shadow changed plans from bypassing Lementov's guards to silently taking them out of the picture, sinking a black blade into the base of their neck and dragging their bodies quickly into dark corners of the warehouse, relieving two of them of their Sub-machine guns.

Just before the order to move in was given, there would be an eruption of gunfire inside of the Warehouse. Things were obviously going pear-shaped inside. What the SWAT team didn't know was that there was an interloper in the mix and he was quick to gun down Rasheed's men first using Lementov's men's weapons, causing Rasheed's men to fire back creating a huge firefight in the warehouse!

Things were seeming like they were going as planned it to Coale, who had been told about the plan to strike from either side simultaneously, it was only when the sudden sound of gunfire erupted from the warehouse that she, and the rest of the SWAT personnel around her realized something was wrong. At first, they had thought that the other team had moved early, and began to hasten their approach, the two outside guards spotting them and almost immediately raising their weapons. A glowing heart appeared in Coale’s hand, and she thrust it forward as the projectile grew to roughly the size of a basketball, a second heart blast following the first.

The two guards were taken off-guard by the energy blasts, and while the body armor they wore was decent for bullets, the energy blast’s heat had more than made up for that resistance. The result wouldn’t be lethal, though she had found recently that it would be easy to make them such as her powers had grown significantly in the last few weeks. Two of the swat officers quickly restrained the men with practiced ease only to suddenly be interrupted by a sudden radio message.

“Bravo team, report?” The radio asked, and the officer’s response quickly made it known that the shots being fired were due to something entirely different from what Coale and the rest of her team expected. Apparently, the fight was between the criminals themselves rather than the other SWAT team. “Copy, Alpha. Preparing breach.” The leader stated. The other team’s leader parroting the report as though to confirm. The officer motioned, and two other SWAT officers prepared a battering ram. The next moment they were through the door, a flash grenade thrown inside to cover their entrance.

Aeternitas had seen the interloper start a firefight from her current position. She let out a sigh as one of Dmitri Lementov's men walked by her current position in panic. Apparently, he was caught of guard by the current situation which allowed her to make her move. She quietly waited until her walked by her before hitting the pressure point behind the man's ear. This had an instant effect and he stumped to the ground as the urge to sleep overcame him. After doing so, Aeternitas grabbed the AK-15 from the man.

After doing so, she set the fire control selector from Full-Auto to Two Shot Burst. Once this was done, she quickly took aim at some of the Dmitri Lementov's other men and quickly began shooting the weapons out of their hands. As she was doing this, Aeternitas began maneuvering in a way that would allow her to avoid incoming fire. In addition to this, she kept note of when her power was ready to go.

The man in the dark suit was quick to move from cover to cover giving a burst of SMG fire from each of his weapons to keep heads down and keep the levels of Chaos up, that chaos of battle being a warm blanket he was wrapping himself up in. In bounced a diversion-distraction device and the interloper stepped behind a heavy crate allowing it to go off.

The man in the suit stepped out from behind the crate as many of the fighters lulled in their volume of fire, the flash-bang doing exactly what it was supposed to do. That was when the man noted the woman in Navy and White, an odd choice of battle dress, but he also noticed that she was shooting guns out of hands, quite a feat especially with an AK style weapon. Well she'd be helping him as he, quickly followed up each of her shots with a little trigger-controlled burst of his own, killing every man she disarmed, as he moved through cover towards Lementov.

The SWAT teams pushed in the doors, and the blind and senseless thugs already shooting turned their weapons towards the doors. The guard closest to Dmitri would grab him by the arm and pull him into cover behind boxes as the firefight started, with SWAT coming into the picture it was obviously a set up. Lementov, even blinded by the flash of the flash bang would produce a golden Walther PPK from his jacket and point it blindly as he was ushered towards his chosen exit, an Exit that the man in black was already cutting him off from.

Quickly the man in black finished firing the last of the nearly bottomless Bizon magazines and discarding both rifles as he drew a Police Issue Glock 17 from his jacket and leveled it at Lementov's guard, shooting the man between the eyes and grabbing the recovering Lementov who was cursing in Russian, a language the man in black didnt understand, pulling him in a different direction, through a hanging canvas tarp as the police pushed into the door he was originally heading towards, one of the breachers with a shield and pistol getting a shot off at the man in black but missing low.

The SWAT teams were starting to mop up the stragglers, and the man in black and Lementov had seemingly vanished.

The SWAT officers took cover through the initial hail of gunfire, The one wielding the battering ram catching more than one projectile, and while most of the hits seemed to impact the man’s Kevlar vest, Coale could see crimson blood spreading from a wound on the man’s shoulder. Another officer dragging him out of danger as a loud crash signaled the other SWAT team arriving. The initial gunfire impacting uselessly against someone Coale was more than a little familiar with.

“Are we late to the party?” Houston yelled out as bullets bounced off of his durable skin, the broken in door flying outward to crash into one of the thugs. Coale’s attention was pulled back to the firefight at hand for the moment, A glowing energy heart appearing in her hand before being sent across the room, once again expanding as it flew out to where two of the criminals were behind a metal shelf, both. The blast would hit the shelf rather than the men, though it would heat the shelf the two were leaning behind on just after reaching roughly the size of a mid-sized car.

The heated shelf caused both men to jump out of their cover, as the heated metal burned them. From there the SWAT officers could take care of them, and the two easily surrendered as the found themselves staring down the barrels of the SWAT rifles. On the other side, of the room Coale could still hear Houston causing problems for the gang members.

"It is time to make my move." Aeternitas thought quietly to herself as she dropped the now empty AK-12. As soon as it hit the ground, a wave of energy burst out from her body as her Temporal Slowdown ability kicked in. Anything within a 10 meter radius of her began slowing down. She quickly dashed towards some of the goons that were shooting at the SWAT team and quickly began knocking them by hitting in the pressure point which was located behind their necks. Soon after, the affected goons slumped to the ground slowly. After doing this, she began providing assistance to the SWAT Team.

The man in black pulled a box back and quickly pushed it out of the way as a bullet pierces the hanging canvas keeping them out of view and strikes the man in the head, Causing his captive to jump for a moment as the Captive's eyes widen seeing the 115 grain projectile, flattened by the impact fall to the floor with a soft clink barely audible above the gunfire as the captured Russian looks up in horror, watching the man in black shake his head from the hit and to about lifting the manhole cover, to the buildings sewer system, and swiftly kicking the arms dealer into it before hopping down and dragging the lid back over himself, another bullet skipping off the hard steel lid.

Lementov's guards and Rasheed's goons aren't much against trained, prepared SWAT team members and with the addition of another super hero there's not long before the last survivors of the gunfight throw down their weapons, outmaneuvered, and over powered by both the SWAT and super heroes.

Coale moved quickly to help with the assault as things continued. The arms dealers were surrendering, and the SWAT members were wrapping up inside. A few gang members seemed to be running for one of the vehicles parked outside the warehouse, Coale noticed it first and sent out one of her blasts, seemingly missing the retreating gangsters. Only she hadn’t truly missed, and the energy heart suddenly encompassed the car, damaging it enough so that it’d be incapable of starting.

“You should probably surrender now.” The short hero commented idly, another glowing heart sitting in her hand idly. The group of three surrendered easily enough after, mostly because they’d already seen her power. They hadn’t caught everyone in the meeting, but for now it seemed like the shooting was over. Houston appeared to be speaking to the police sergeant, and Coale would take the moment to look for the other girl that had helped with the raid.

She’d seen someone near the end, seemingly moving super fast from her perspective near the end, and Coale thought it’d be best to see if she could find that girl. The outfit seemed rather flashy, but it had been a hero she didn’t recognize…
