Jet smiled back to Sunshine.  "Indeed it is.  And it's a nice treat to see our raider for hire in action."  Jet continued to follow along casually behind Sai and Mary.  His hands sat relaxed in his pockets as he strode through the building in a manner quite dissonant to the excitement around him.  Jet called to Mort and Lazy Eye, "Keep it up boys, I don't wanna see any ties here!"  Jet placed his hands on his hips.  "Alright everyone, when we move in to kill the guards make sure not to injure the contacts.  That would be a biiiig no no.  So be eeeeeextra careful with your aim.  Also Mary, be a doll and make sure you listen to my instructions when we are talking to the nice men, okay?" Jet gave a playful smile towards Mary.

Sai just kept moving forward, finally ejecting his clip from his AK-47 and slipping in a brand new one. For the moment though, he reattached it to his back as he pulled out his pistol. Sai hadn't bothered with a silencer today, knowing that this attack was supposed to be quite loud. "I figured that with an attack like this they would have evacuated the contacts, do they not consider you that much of a threat?" Sai asked curiously as he moved in the direction of the dining area, careful of each corner for any sign of an ambush.

At that last bit, Sai just glanced over to Mary but didn't say anything. Mary had made it clear that she'd only follow Sai's orders. If Sai didn't give her permission to listen to him, she'd continue to follow his orders.

Lazy Eye laughed. "Aye, they did 'ave evacuation orders!" He gestured to the three people dead around him. "These free were t' escort their bosses and the contacts away. Then I show up, chase 'em back into a room wif one exit!" He cackled maniacally.
Mary turned her head to Jet. Her facial expression didn't change, and her tone was still monotone. "Master Sai is my master. Not you. I do not need to please or obey you, only him." She lowered her head again, staring blankly at the floor as she had been the entire time.
Sunshine strutted towards the door and raised her pistols. "Alrighty, boys. Order of entry: Yours truly with Jetty-boy since we're the ones doing the talking. Need to make a dramatic entrance and all, and the speakers should always take center stage." She playfully winked at Jet. "Lazy Eye and Tall 'n' Spooky, you take either side of us. You've got more accurate weapons so won't accidentally hit the contacts. Mort, you protect the merc's toy."
"Bullshit!" Mort protested. "You're just handing Lazy Eye a free win in this--"
"Tut tut tut!" Sunshine interrupted, a grin on her face. "No arguing tactics! Besides--" She pouted playfully. "It's too late to argue anyways." With that, she whirled around and kicked in the door, immediately firing in the direction of two men with handguns trained on the door. "Hello, gents!" She called into the room as Lazy Eye bolted in, dashing around the left hand side of the room to avoid any covering fire.
Inside the room were three men armed with handguns and dressed in fancy suits, and two other men armed with M16s, one on either side of the room. In the back kitchen area, one more man in a suit could be seen with two other men who Jet would immediately recognize as Jia Tang and Vernon Bastski, the contacts who were expected to be here.

Well, for the time being I guess I wont need these.  Nickel, Disarm.  Nickel, Disarm.  Penny, Disarm.  Not long before they were set to go off, the three explosives were no longer set to blow.  
To Mary's retort Jet clicked his tongue, "My oh my, now that wont do.  I'm supposed to be in charge of the mission.  Hey Raider, do you mind telling Lillipop here it's okay to listen to me for a bit?  Worry not!  I have no intention of taking away your precious little toy.  It will just be easier for my sake when I ask her to step up she does so."  
Jet followed directly behind Sunshine, letting her take out enemies before moving up beside her.   He held up his hands in the shape of pistols, knowing the false information of how his power worked had spread throughout Oz. It was his intent to at least throw them off with the threat of an 'exploding bullet'.  "Hello everyone~ great to see you all again~. Don't worry, we are only going to kill most of you!" Jet looked over to the contacts, "Oh, but Mr. Bastski and even Mr. Tang! I'm glad to see you're doing well."

"Her name...is Mary" Sai reminded Jet and allowed the implication to linger in the air. He glanced over to Mary. "You may do as he instructs, but only after you get a nod from me in confirmation. I'll be subtle, so make sure that you pay attention" Sai said to Mary before they moved in. The talking part wasn't really his forte, so he just needed to make sure to get in position. Moving around the side of these new faces, Sai held up his weapon to make sure that everyone stayed still, or at least he could fire a warning shot if anyone did anything stupid.

He stood far enough that Mary would be able to clearly see him nod if Sai wanted Mary to do whatever Jet requested.

Mary turned her head a few degrees closer to Sai when he emphasized her name, but said nothing. When he told her to follow orders only with his sign, she nodded. "Yes, sir."
In the room, after Sunshine loudly took out two of the well dressed men, the room went dead silent after Jet's loud proclamation; the folks at Oz knew about Jet, and they knew that he was a loose cannon in every sense of the word. It was clear everyone was trying to think of how they could get out of the situation alive. The last well dressed man, someone Jet and his fellow ex-Oz companions recognized as a high-ranking officer, stepped forward and raised his hands slightly, showing he had no intention of fighting back. "Alright. We all know why you're here. Congrats on a successful mission. You scared our contacts; they know we can't protect them from you now. Go ahead. Claim your victory, let them go, kill me, and blow up the motel or whatever it is you maniacs do nowadays. Let the others go. Surely we can--"
"BORED." Sunshine bluntly interrupted, splitting his head open with a synchronized shot from both of her pistols at once. She immediately trained each of her guns on the men with M16s. "You two so much as sneeze and I blast you apart, too, boys."
A loud clatter was heard from the kitchen area. "Roight this way, gents!" Lazy Eye called loudly. Slowly, Vernon and Jia walked into the main dining area, standing off to the side from Sunshine's stare-off with the two heavily armed men. Lazy Eye followed behind them, holding the last suited man from behind with a knife to his throat.
"What is meaning of this? Is this how this Witch thinks she wins friends?" Vernon blustered, anger accentuating his already thick Russian accent.
Jia, a small, round Chinese man, kept his head down, saying nothing as his bald head glistened with sweat.
"I take it you lot have message for us, yes, hm? Speak it then!" Vernon continued loudly.

Jet only smiled to Sai's flat and mildly threatening response.  "Come now, of course I know her name is Mary.  I waaaas present when she was introduced.  Its a friendly nickname! Friendly."  Jet gave Sai a quick pat on the back before moving on.  

After Sunshine shot the officer, Jet mock-reprimanded her, "Now Sunshine, I think you were too hasty there.  He was just trying to negotiate.  Surely we could have listened to what he had to say first and come to an agreement.  And then after he is satisfied with the conclusion, THEN we can go back and break it, so he can feel the last thread of despair before you kill him."  Well, looks like things are mostly under control.  Dime, Disarm.  

Jet listened patiently to Vernon's complaints, hands now at his sides.  "Well Mr. Bastski, is anyone truly friends here in East Diamond?  But a message?  Not entirely.  Valerie and I were just concerned for yours and Mr. Tangs safety.  Surely you can see the incompetence of Oz now.  Imagine if the ones attacking wouldn't have been a friendly bunch like us!  Why just the thought of something happening to you two..."  Jet threaded his fingers, showily recomposing himself.  "Now then, with these posers taken care of, a man of your foresight should be able to tell that Oz is going nowhere but down.  I feel they were hardly worth both of your times before, but now?"  Jet shook his head.

Sai said nothing. This part wasn't really for him, he was really there just to kill and hurt people. Standing with his AK, Sai just allowed his eyes to slowly trace around the room. Along with having his weapon aimed at the last few threats, Sai just allowed his eyes to occasionally trace around the room as he wanted to make sure that there were not any other threats present. Ambushes were still a possibility. While the others would play with their food, Sai would make sure that they were safe.

Vernon guffawed loudly at Jet's speech. "Concerned for our safety then, hm? So naturally you lob multiple explosives around the building we reside in. Paah. Fine. You come to make statement. It is made. Fine. As of today I sever ties with Oz. But!" He narrowed his eyes and walked up to Jet, prodding his chest with a long, fat finger. "I do no dealings with your rabble until Oz is gone. Reasonable, yes?" His eyes shifted and he saw Sai. "YOU. In the mask." Vernon barked, walking over to him. "You are clearly not with them. You are too quiet-" He looked down at his AK and smirked. "-And have too good of taste in weapons to be one of Valerie's." He looked from him to Mary. "Who are you two? SPEAK."
Jia simply stood silently, his eyes darting nervously from one person to the next, immediately dropping his gaze whenever he made eye contact.

Jet remained calm to Vernon's accusations.  "I assure you Mr. Bastski, I am an expert on explosives.  We knew exactly where you would be and I made sure they were set off in a way that they would not hurt either of you.  You are uninjured, are you not?  Have I set off any explosives in or near this room?  And I do believe you are being quite reasonable.  It's only logical that you'd want your previous associated eliminated so they would not attempt to come after you in some petty attempt at revenge for you jumping ship.  It would be our absolute pleasure to rid you of this dead weight.  Consider it done."  When Vernon moved over to Sai and Mary and demanded to know who they were, Jet gave a sly smile in a sideways glance at Jia.  "Oh, I think you in particular, Mr. Tang, would be extra pleased to know who these two are."  Jet listed his index finger, "So pay close attention!"

Sai glanced over to the loud one, eyes unflinching behind the mask. He didn't really enjoy this, but he would at least make it clear that he shouldn't be spoken rudely to. "I'm Sai, the guy who single-handedly ruined Shoushan's warehouse and day just a bit ago" he said. "And this is Mary, say hello Mary" Sai said simply before looking back to Vernon. "As for what that means for you, we're the hired help tonight"

Mary raised her head slightly. "Hello." The word was relatively lifeless, and she immediately lowered her head again. Jia's eyes widened slightly at Sai's blunt introduction and Mary's quick obedience. Vernon, however simply raised an eyebrow. "You are the fool who spat in the eye of the Tang family?" He guffawed again. "I must admit. You have balls. I can respect that. And you say you are hired help, yes? Not with..." He gestured vaguely at Jet and his crew. "Them? Very good. You are strange. But that is normal in Mocca City." He pulled a business card out of his pocket and handed it to Sai. He patted the top of Sai's AK. "As I said, you have good taste. I sell such merchandise to the discerning gentleman. I do not deal with them until this blows over. But you are not them. So I will deal with you." He turned to Jet and walked up to him. "I offer congratulations. You got what you wanted." He spread his arms apart, not in an open gesture, but more of an exasperated one. "Please step aside so I can go. I have other business to attend to."
As this was transpiring, Jia had wandered over to Mary, maintaining a respectful distance, but clearly studying her. After Vernon finally shut up, he turned to Sai. "You... Attacked my brother? And stole this from him?" His voice was soft, and it shook slightly, though it was unclear if it was from fear or excitement.

Jet smiled at Vernon and opened up his arms in return, "Of course, Mr. Bastski, by all means!  For if there is one thing we have in East Diamond, it's freedom.  I wish you a safe trip back, and I look forward to dealing with you once we have fulfilled our end of our little bargain."  He moved his hands in a way suggesting he was allowing Vernon to leave as he pleased.
Jet finally heard Jia speak for the first time today.  Naturally, it was to Sai.  A sinister grin spread across his face.  Jet slid to stand between Sai and Mary, "He certainly did, Mr. Tang.  Our man Sai here single-handedly just waltzed into one of your brothers warehouses, killed every one of his men, and wrecked his merchandise.  Valerie managed to pick him out.  She has a good eye for people, and I must say we are veeeery impressed with his performance so far.  He's even taken on a super who was in a team of armed men all by himself.  With someone like this in our midst, I think your brother would have a hard time with the Witch even if we were to let Sai do all the work!  Well, not that we would let him have all the fun."  Jet snickered, then raised his face as if remembering something, "Oh yeah, I almost forgot!  When he attacked your brothers warehouse he got one more thing as well!"  Jet placed a hand on Mary's shoulder and drew an outline around her jaw without touching, "This here is little Mary.  She was one of the slaves in training at the warehouse.  Not only that, but she seems to be a preeeetty powerful super.  And after our man Sai heroically came to her rescue, she seems to have become quiiite attached to him."  Jet pulled away from Mary and made a half turn back to Sai, "Quite an impressive resume for someone who is supposedly just started out in this line of work.  Imagine what he will be like as the years grow on!"  Jet turned his head and looked directly at Jia with a cunning smile.

Sai glanced down as Vernon patted the AK that was practically pointing at him. He didn't really enjoy that the man was acting so comfortable around him. Something about it just didn't feel right, and he was about a few inches from smacking him across the jaw. It was a good thing that the man was able to offer Sai something of interest. Buying guns from him was something that Sai would have to look into. But, there was also a possibility that this was some sort of trap. Sai would have to investigate that later.

And then, the trembling man began to speak. Sai turned over and looked over to Jia. "Yeah, I am. And I'm still waiting for him to pay that ransom. Perhaps you'll be able to offer some encouragement" Sai said as he took a threatening step to Jia.

Jia jumped and stepped back slightly as Sai aggressively stepped towards him. "G-good sir, I th-think you misunderstand. H-he may be my brother, b-but he has long since disowned me. I-If I tried to 'offer encouragement', he'd shoot me on sight..." He nodded nervously at Sai and turned to Jet. "H-he is on the W-Witch's payroll? You have my attention. If she can guarantee protection from Shoushan, she will have my full support. I-I can sic some of my patrol beetles on Oz i-in a day."

At Sai's sudden threatening behavior towards Jia, Jet raised his eyes before stepping between them to intervene.  "Don't worry Sai, he's telling the truth.  I figured he'd be overjoyed at your track record of being able to handle his brother.  So no need to get rough, kay?"  Jet gave Sai an innocent smile before turning to Jia, "My apologies Mr. Tang.   We seem to have not properly explained your situation to our friend here.  Worry not though!  We won't be sending him after you unless its to the rescue!"  Jet laughed at himself.  "Your brother wont lay one finger on you with us! We will make it a priority to keep you safe from him. And we would be overjoyed if you were to send your patrol beetles to rough up Oz.  I'm excited to be working with you in the future!"  Jet said this in an overexcited tone and a wide smile.

Sai stopped as Jet stepped between himself and Jia. He didn't even look at Jet, just kept his eyes on the little man. They could call this a negotiation or a betrayal all they wanted, Sai knew sending a violent message when he saw one. The Witch wanted these people scared of her. You were always less likely to betray the people that truly terrified you. Sai eventually took a step back, though he didn't loosen his grip on the AK for even a moment. For now, he'd just let these men hash out whatever deal they wanted to make. Vernon was the one that interested Sai, it sounded like he was much more open to perhaps...an open contract.

Jia's eyes flicked nervously from Jet to Sai. He nodded and turned his attention back to Jet. "I-I'm glad to hear the Witch views me so highly. Um... O-one moment." He patted his pockets nervously, and eventually pulled out a business card, presenting it to Jet. "Give this to Valerie. I-I had my number changed when sh-she... Well, when the entire situation unfolded. I-I wasn't sure what she was going to d-do, so I figured it was best to be safe. Sh-she can contact me here."
Vernon guffawed at Jia and began to leave the room. "So quick to flee a sinking ship. And you wonder why Shoushan calls you a rat. Pardon." He made his way past Mort and left the motel.
Behind Jia, the man Lazy Eye was holding hostage spat on the ground. "Fuck all of you." He hissed. "You think that you can just walk in here like you own the place? This is Oz territory. There will be retribution for this. For ALL of you!" He craned his neck and shouted at Jia. "We do have Shoushan's number! He'll know EXACTLY who's protecting you within the hour if you turn on us, Jia!"

Jet politely took the card from Jia and placed it safely in his pocket.  He nodded and waved as Vernon left, and was quite satisfied with the outcome.  Then, one of the Ozlings began spouting threats at them.  Jet turned to face him, listening intently.  Once he finished, Jet couldn't hold back anymore and burst into a hysterical, almost maniacal laughter.  "Oh reaaaaaaaaaaaaally?  Is that soooooooooo?  And how, pray tell, is anyone going to know what exactly happened here?  Who's going to to make such a call?  Who will even know to call everyone's favorite CANDY SHOP OWNER!  Yoooooou?"  He stopped himself and ran his hand down his face, recomposing himself.  "Oz territory huh?  You say that but I doubt anyone respects or fears Oz enough to even care anymore.  It's exactly as you say.  We were able to walk in here like we owned the place, with NO repercussions.  Not only did we accomplish our goal of saving our contacts from you, we also killed off all but you lot here and have no casualties of our own with only minor cuts or bruises to speak of.  It's pathetic really.  That this once great gang can't do anything to defend itself or its associates.  Oz isn't a sinking ship.  Oz is a sunken ship."  Jet was staring intensely at the Ozling.  
Jet turned to Sunshine and Mort, "Sunshine if you could grab some rope please, and Mort if you could tie these ones up niiiiiice and tight.  He gave them a wink to indicate that whatever he was doing, he had no intention of letting them get out alive.

Sai glanced over to the Oz soldier that was captured. Pathetic, to spout off just words at the last moment like they would do anything to save you. It was truly a pathetic sight to behold. To know that one was so close to death, the least you could do was act rational. This was just weak. Sai fought hard to accomplish everything he did, and he got out alive because he always respected the power his opponents had. Sai was no super, one bullet to the head and he was done for, like an ant being stepped on.

Gone were the days when non-supers felt powerful. Those days weren't coming back, not in Sai's mind at least.

"Mary, pull out one of his teeth. I imagine that will get him to stop talking. Thank you" Sai said dismissively.

Mort and Sunshine smirked and shot each other knowing looks. They enjoyed Jet's sadistic nature; it always kept things interesting. Mort reached into his pocket and pulled out some zipties. Sunshine sighed dramatically. "Good rope is soooo hard to come by, unfortunately Jet-plane. I hope zipties will do." Mort walked up to the two armed men and promptly clocked one of them with the butt of his shotgun, audibly breaking his jaw and knocking him to the ground as Sunshine pressed her pistols to the forehead of the other. The two of them quickly disarmed the two men and got to work zip-tieing their hands behind their backs.
Jia nervously watched on as they worked. He turned to Jet. "Y-you're sure that they can't contact Shoushan? I-I can't afford him finding me before I have a chance to relocate..."
At Sai's prompting, Mary immediately stepped towards the final man that Lazy Eye was holding hostage. "Stop talking." She stated bluntly to him as she grabbed his face with one hand, her grip inhumanly strong. She forced his mouth open and grabbed one of his molars with her left hand, forcibly tearing the tooth and a large amount of the gum out with it. The man cried out in pain, gagging on his own blood as it poured out of the gap left by the tooth. Mary stepped back and turned to Sai. "I removed is tooth, but he's still screaming. Should I remove his head to guarentee his silence?"
Lazy Eye raised an eyebrow at Mary's nonchalance to the act she committed and the effect it had on the man. "Damn, Spook. Y'got a real charmer theah."

"Jet-plane?"  he laughed at the nickname, "Well, the best weather to fly in is sunny!"  Jet dramatically pointed to her.  "Zipties should work fine, so long as they are secured down somewhat. Table, chair, corpse, whatever works."  Jet nonchalantly shrugged.  
At Jia's concern he turned to him, "Not to worry Mr. Tang!  I will take personal responsibility for whatever happens."  Jet's smile was confident.  It was difficult to assure Jia at the same time as giving the Ozlings hope of escaping.  "In fact,"  Jet walked over to the now tied up ozlings and reached into his pockets.  "I'm so confident of our success, that on the off-chance that you get out," Set. Set. Set. 3. Explosion. Max  "Jet held his fists over the tied up bunch, "that if you doooo manage to get out, I'll even cover a pay phone for you!"  Jet opened his clenched fists and a rain of ten quarters dropped on their heads.  He put a hand on the shoulder of the man who had his tooth ripped out and turned his head to Sai and Mary. "Now now, it's only faaaaaair that he has a chance right?  You've put him through enough torture, riiiight?"  Set. 3. Explosion. Max.  
Jet stood up, "Now then, any other pressing concerns?  Or are we ready to go?"  Jet's smile was innocent and sincere.  Almost as if ignorant to the carnage around him.

Sai could only smirk under his mask as Mary obeyed with such confidence and ease through such a situation. Her moment was still sad, but at least she was going to be useful to Sai for a long long time. "Nah, I think I'm enjoying this a lot more actually. You can let him go, let Jet do whatever he wishes" Sai said before motioning Mary back to his side. The rest of this mission seemed pretty straight forward, Sai wasn't sure if they were really needed.

"We good to go? It doesn't look like any of you need protecting or enforcing. If it's all the same to you, I'd rather head out and get my pay for tonight"

Mort nodded at Jet's specifications and bound the two tied men together back-to-back by their wrists, then bound the feet of one of the men to one of the tables. Lazy Eye tossed the man he was holding on his stomach near the other two, and his hands were also tied to the table.
Mary nodded at Sai's order. "Yes, sir." She walked back over to him and placed her hands behind her back, her head slightly lowered.
Jia nervously looked around at the group. "A-alright... If you insist that I'll be safe... I-I'll... Get going. I have to get to my safe house and... Make some changes." Without another word, he pulled out his phone and hit speed dial as he fumbled out of the building.

Jet clapped his hands together.  "Then it looks like we're all set!  Let's head out!"  Jet pointed boldly at the door and marched off, but stopped at the threshold glancing back.  "Oh, and to you guys, goooood luuuuck!  Can you make it out alive and heroically save your group?  You may be the only ones who can.  No one else knows what happened, and you'd be hard pressed to figure it out before it's too late.  The countdown is beginning.  Sooooooooo..."  Jet gave them a thumbs up and a smile, "It's all up to you!"  Jet walked through the doorway.  Before moving to leave the building, however, he walked over to two locations that were supporting pillars of the building and subsequently placed his hand on each.  Set. 3. Explosive. Max.  "Alright, we should be all set!  I really do hope they manage to struggle out.  managing to escape juuust in time, only to be denied at the last second.  That moment when hope falls to despair!"  Jet hugged his body.  "I only wish I could stay and see it.  That fear.  All the mess of thought flowing through their head at their final moment."  Jet exhaled, slowly opening up his arms and then flipping his wrists up, palms to the sky.  "Unfortunately I can't afford to let one of them go to spread panic among Oz, but I suppose fear of the unknown will be good enough for now."
